That is how it works. A photo cannot be seen until you send the roll to develop and the wait is over. There is no thumbnail on the shooting screen either, for the same reason: so you do not judge a frame on the spot.

By how many frames you shot. Frames 1–10 take 9 min each, 11–25 take 7, and 26 onward take 5. The more you shoot, the less each frame costs.

So 10 frames take 1 hr 30 min, 25 frames 3 hr 15 min, and a full roll of 27 takes 3 hr 25 min.

The clock starts the moment you press “Send to develop”. Finishing a roll does not start it.

You can send it whenever you like. The remaining frames can no longer be shot, so we show you how many you are giving up before you send.

As many as you like, all at once, with no limit. Tap the name at the top of the shooting screen to swap between them.

On the free app, the first roll goes in as it is. From the second roll on, one video loads a roll. There is still no limit on how many you hold.

Turn the device sideways. The viewfinder turns with it and the frame is recorded landscape. Just like a real camera: you change how you hold it.

While you hold it sideways the bottom menu hides, so you can concentrate on shooting.

Losing two frames to one mis-press is the saddest way to lose them, so a second shot needs a one-second gap.

You name it when you load it, and you can rename it any time after: the pencil mark on the card in the Film screen, the name on the developing screen, the name on the contact sheet — any of them.

Slide your finger from the left edge to the right. There is no back button: sweeping is quicker than reaching for one.

Allow notifications for this app in the Settings app. Even without them, the roll will be developed when you next open the app.

Press and hold a photo on the contact sheet to select. Press and hold a roll in the album to save the whole roll at once.

Turn on “Save automatically once developed” in Settings and developed photos go there by themselves.

Settings, then “Language”. Japanese, English, Chinese, Spanish and Korean are available.

They go with it, undeveloped ones included, and cannot be recovered. Anything you want to keep should be developed and saved to your camera roll.

No. This app has no server. A photo leaves your device only when you save or share it yourself.
